After a few months in lockdown this is what I feel like:
I’ve been talking more than I’d like on Zoom – no substitute for face–to-face encounters but the new normal, for now at least. COVID-19 has been a challenge for many in our community, especially the elderly, the lonely and the isolated. I’ve been writing regularly on the topic – mainly essays and memoir. My essay on COVID-19 for Cicerone Journal can be found here, and my poem, <code> here. Check out http://maurapierlot.com and fragmentstheplay to see what else I’ve been up to.
