What fun it was to travel to Lilydale, Victoria to watch two of my plays being performed in the Arkfest Short Play Festival – with one picking up two awards – and then starting my book tour for The Trouble in Tune Town. Enjoyed scenic stops and school visits in the Melbourne area, Great Western, the Grampians – and then COVID hit. We left western Victoria on the day the Premier declared a state of emergency. The long drive back to Canberra was surreal. Who knows how life will unfold in the coming months?
