I was proud to help raise funds for the NSW fireys, who are still bravely battling devastating bushfires across the state. I joined Twitter to auction ten copies of The Trouble in Tune Town, along with a manuscript assessment, and raised a few hundred dollars – a small contribution but every little bit helps.
Maura is an award-winning author, playwright and filmmaker based in Canberra.
Fragments, her acclaimed play, book and web series, is now a feature-length film touring festivals. Maura’s picture books include Alphabetter – A Better You and Me, from A to Z (Affirm Press, 2024) and What Will You Make Today? (Storytorch Press, 2023).
